This website is an information and communication platform on the process and stages of Cherkasy region's branding.

On July 31, 2020 the brand identity "Cherkasy region – land of great power" was presented.

The representatives of White Studio and Bulanov Büro presented the results of their work to the team of the Department of regional development of Cherkasy regional state administration and the partners in one of power places – Kholodnyi Yar near the Oak of Maksym Zalizniak.

It was the final preparatory stage of the region's brand implementation. The logo and the identity were positively met by the public. The strategy of the tourism development was taken as a basis.


This is an idea, which unites the residents of the region.

Brand is an image and recognizability of the region.

It is a story about us, which we tell to the world.

And the reaction of the world will depend on our presentation of the story.

The successful brand will allow Cherkasy region to more effectively build its own competitive advantages, attract investment, tourists and talents, export its products and to change stereotypes.

Branding is not a short-term project, it's a strategy.

Establishing partnership
(March - July 2019)
The brand is about the identity of all residents of the region. We have involved the representatives from the community, business and the regional council in order to make the process transparent, unprejudiced and effective.

(August - October 2019)

We have used all our opportunities at that time in order to let the majority of region's residents get to know about our initiative and offer their own variant of a slogan.
Selecting a slogan (November 2019 - January 20, 2020)
Our team has chosen the TOP-3 ideas which were later voted for online and offline. "Institute "Respublica" helped us to organize a voting.

Implementation and promotion of the brand (2020-2024)
Analyst of the Agency of Tourism Initiatives Ihor Chava, has developed a strategy of the region's brand implementation. Now Cherkasy regional state administration has a clear plan for 5 years, which will make Cherkasy region a tourist attractive region – interesting and comfortable for guests.
Brand is an idea which unites and inspires.
